Noon Conferences
Noon conferences are held daily and are presented by clinical and hospital staff, residents, and community resource personnel. Subjects include surgery, pediatrics, geriatrics, family medicine, ENT, internal medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB-GYN, pathology, emergency medicine, radiology, and behavioral medicine.
Friday Grand Rounds
Medical staff conference covering a broad range of medical topics (approved AAFP one hour presentation). Residents give a presentation during their third year.
Clinic and Resident Meetings
Monthly meetings among residents, clinic staff and faculty regarding clinic operations, patient care, including chart audits, academic program issues, and other matters of mutual concern.
Workshops
Residents attend required and elective courses with other University of Minnesota family medicine residents. These are usually one to two days and cover areas such as:

- Leadership in academic medicine
