Curriculum
The University of Minnesota Family Medicine Residency at Mankato is a fully ACGME-approved three-year training program committed to excellence in teaching and practicing family medicine in hospital and office settings. The curriculum incorporates all requirements of the American Board of Family Medicine while retaining five blocks of elective time. Suggestions from residents, faculty, changes in the health care environment, and the changing requirements of the Residency Review Committee for Family Medicine have led to and will continue to produce constructive changes.
Residents take three weeks of vacation each year.
