Primary Research Themes: Evaluation of HIV/STD-related programming for women, especially women of color; Hmong community-based organizations; transgender populations; female sexuality especially among African American women;  therapeutic uses of sexually explicit materials

Education Activities: Advises post-doctoral fellows, medical students, and residents in family medicine and psychology
