Application

Prior to the start of the fellowship, applicants must have completed all doctoral degree requirements from an APA/CPA-accredited university, including an internship meeting APPIC standards. Applicants who have received a doctoral degree in some area of psychology other than clinical, counseling, or school must have received a certificate of equivalency from an APA/CPA-approved university program designed for retraining of such psychologists, attesting to completion of all requirements, including an internship meeting APPIC standards.

Experience and an interest in the area of specialized training is required. Applicants must have enthusiasm about a career in one of the areas of specialized training described above, have an interest in conducting ongoing clinical research, and be able to satisfy the requirements for licensure in the state of Minnesota.

The fellowship is granted for a two-year period of training and research experience. The 12-month salary range is $24,000-$28,000, depending on experience.
