St. John's is a community hospital known for its strong family medicine base. Our residents are the only residents on-site and receive support and attention from many specialists who serve as preceptors or instructors. The busy emergency room, intensive care unit, and obstetrics service complement in-depth teaching services in internal medicine, pediatrics, and surgery.
Each academic class includes six residents; and, our program has filled in the Match every year since 1990.
