Family medicine education encompasses residency and fellowship training as well as medical student and continuing medical education.
Residency Programs
We have eight family medicine residencies—five in the Twin Cities and three in Greater Minnesota. Each program delivers an innovative, high-quality curriculum focusing on emerging changes in care and education. Learn more.

We sponsor fellowships in behavioral medicine, human sexuality, hospice and palliative medicine, and sports medicine. Learn more.
Medical Student Education
We are active at all levels of medical student education, including leading and directing courses and clerkships, advising students, supporting the coordination of a family medicine interest group, and arranging one-on-one clinical work with community preceptors. Learn more.
