Community Health

Twice a year, we sponsor a community health seminar for second- and third-year family
medicine residents.

Participants learn:

• to develop and implement preventive health strategies
• the importance of a health care team
• to demonstrate sensitivity to diverse populations
• to use practice-based CQI data to guide community health interventions
• how community outreach contributes to the larger health care system
