ONE DEPARTMENT. TWO CAMPUSES.

The University of Minnesota Department of Family Medicine and Community Health is one department reaching across two campuses: Twin Cities and Duluth.

Twin Cities

The department’s central administrative offices and the majority of its programming are located on the University of Minnesota (UMN) – Twin Cities campus. The Twin Cities is the main UMN campus and center of research. Here, physician researchers collaborate with colleagues in the health sciences and across disciplines throughout the University.

Duluth

The Duluth arm of the department focuses on training physicians who will practice in rural and Native American communities. Duluth is located about two hours north of the Twin Cities and offers a more intimate campus environment.
